Glendullan Scotch Whisky
Glendullan Scotch whisky distillery is located to the east of Dufftown on the east bank of the River Fiddich. The water for the distillery is drawn from springs in the Conval Hills.
Glendullan was established in 1897-98 and was the last of the seven original Dufftown distilleries.
The Distillery was remodelled in 1962 Ten years later in 1972 a second distillery was built in the field alongside to increase capacity. Both distilleries used the same water, ‘recipe’ and techniques and despite having stills of different sizes, produced a similar spirit. The ‘old distillery’ was ‘mothballed’ in 1985.
