Royal Brackla Scotch Whisky

Royal Brackla Scotch whisky distillery was founded in 1812 on the estate of Cawdar in the Findhorn Valley.

Brackla became the first distillery to receive a royal warrant in 1835 as a result of King William IV’s particular liking for the whisky, which was called ‘The King’s Own Whisky’. The distillery is one of only three ever entitled to the ‘Royal’ appellation.

Distillery Style

Nose : Fresh, fruity, grassy.

Palate : Medium bodied. Juicy malt, rich fruit and a hint of spice.

Finish : Dry with late smoke.
