Speyside Scotish Whisky Shop

The Speyside region of Scotland has no exact limits; it can reach from as far as the River Deveron in the east to the River Findhorn in the west.

The River Spey being just one of many rivers in this region. It encompasses heather covered moor lands, granite mountains and Glens of gentle rolling fertile countryside, where barley is grown.

This region generally gives us single malts with finesse and elegance, often soft and delicate with a touch of honey and heather, sometimes spicy, nutty, flowery or fruity or a combination of all this and more.

As with most things there can be exceptions to the rule, such is Ardmore Distillery which produces whisky for a peat loving palate.
